Job-Readiness Skills
Prepare for applications, interviews and everyday workplace expectations.
Finding and maintaining suitable employment can involve much more than submitting a job application. We support participants to build practical work-readiness skills, understand their strengths, explore realistic opportunities and prepare for the routines and expectations that come with starting a job in the Australian workplace.
Support can continue after employment begins and may include establishing reliable routines, preparing for workplace communication, managing changes, building confidence with tasks and problem-solving when challenges arise. Where appropriate and with your consent, we can also communicate with employers and your support network to help create arrangements that are clear, respectful and sustainable.
The right employment support can make work opportunities more accessible and sustainable. We focus on your strengths, goals and practical needs.
This includes preparing for applications and interviews, as well as ongoing support once you’ve started, so employment lasts.
We stay involved as your circumstances or role changes, adjusting support to help you maintain your position long-term.
